Penn State ranks 20th on list of alumni in asset management

Penn State ranks 20th among all schools in a list of alumni who work in asset management on Wall Street, according to eVestment data provided to CNBC.

The rankings are based on a data set of 35,000 active financial professionals from more than 900 universities and colleges around the world and now working at 4,500 firms.

Penn State is listed as having 123 alumni working in asset management, which is sixth among public schools and third among Big Ten schools.

The Penn State Smeal College of Business Nittany Lion Fund (NLF) has been a consistent pipeline from University Park to Wall Street. The NLF is one of the few student-managed funds in the country that manages real investor money, not money from the University’s endowment.
