Penn State Smeal’s Treviño honored by Society for Business Ethics

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Linda K. Treviño, distinguished professor of organizational behavior and ethics at the Penn State Smeal College of Business, has been honored by the Society for Business Ethics.

The society feted Treviño with its Lifetime Achievement Award for Scholarship.

Treviño received a plaque that read, in part, “In recognition of a career of outstanding scholarly achievement in the field of business ethics.”

Treviño has been a member of the Smeal faculty since 1987. Her extensive research and writing on the management of ethical conduct in organizations is known internationally. Throughout her career, Treviño has taught undergraduates, MBA students, doctoral candidates, and executives. She has also been widely quoted in the media on ethics-related topics.
