UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – On Nov. 11, Penn State undergraduate students across the University will have access to an EDUCAUSE technology survey.
Undergraduate students will receive an email directed to their respective campuses that will explain the survey's purpose and provide a link to participate in it. Participation is voluntary, and results will be kept entirely confidential.
"The Penn State community appreciates our undergraduate students taking part in this survey," said Don Welch, Penn State's vice president for information technology and chief information officer. "It will help to develop a deeper understanding of how technology's use can most effectively benefit our students."
The EDUCAUSE technology survey will remain open until Wednesday, Nov. 18. Researchers at EDUCAUSE and Penn State will have access to the survey data and results.
More than 100 higher education institutions participated in the 2019 version of this survey, and its key findings are available for viewing through the EDUCAUSE Center for Analysis and Research.
EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit organization comprised of IT leaders throughout higher education that “contribute to thought leadership on major issues, help clarify the current environment, document effective practices, and highlight how emerging trends and technologies may influence the evolution of IT in higher education,” according to the EDUCAUSE website.
