Prepare for the fall 2019 commencement ceremony

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Graduating students, you’ve made it this far, now make sure you’re ready for commencement.

The Penn State Harrisburg fall 2019 ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Don’t forget to:

  • Register to reserve your seat at the ceremony before Nov. 15.
  • For those who have pre-ordered your regalia, it will be available for pick up at the Penn State Harrisburg Bookstore on Monday, Dec. 9.

The Giant Center doors will open at 8 a.m. on the day of commencement. Students should enter through the Club Seats Holder entrance. Guests should enter through the building’s main doors. No tickets are required for ceremony entry; however, seating for guests is on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved seating sections are available for guests with limited mobility. View a map designating reserved seating.

Graduates should arrive, fully gowned, by 8 a.m. Students arriving after 8:30 a.m. are not guaranteed the opportunity to participate in the student processional and will not be seated with other students in their major.
