UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Proposals are now being accepted for the 18th annual Division of Undergraduate Studies Conference, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.

Presentation formats include lecture/discussion, panels and workshops, with proposals due no later than May 17. Multiple submissions are welcome, but each proposal must be submitted separately. Conference and proposal details are available at dus.psu.edu/2019-dus-conference.

The conference promises a myriad of conversations and thought-provoking presentations led by experts who will guide participants to examine innovative scholarship and practices that contribute to the field of academic advising.

Inquiries regarding the proposal process can be directed to conference planning co-chair Shana Clarke at spc83@psu.edu.

The DUS Conference is provided by Penn State's Division of Undergraduate Studies with sponsorship from the University Faculty Senate, Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, Office of Undergraduate Education, and The Mentor: Innovation Scholarship on Academic Advising.

The Division of Undergraduate Studies, a unit within Penn State Undergraduate Education, is Penn State’s largest unit of enrollment for first-year students. It leads the development of advising policies and practices, manages the University-wide academic information network, and provides general academic advising for current and prospective Penn State students.
