HARRISBURG, Pa. — The School of Humanities at Penn State Harrisburg held a student art exhibition in fall 2018. Students from all art classes were invited to take part in the exhibition. The works of art, curated by Paul Manlove, assistant teaching professor, and Jeff Bye, painting instructor, showcased the talent and skill of student artists.
The works were on display in the Olmsted Building, and outside the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre in the SEC Building from Nov. 12 to Dec. 1.
Awards were given for exemplary paintings and drawings. Top honors went to Wenshilan Ren, second place was awarded to Haodan Tan, and the third place award went to Hannah Hess.
Ren also won the award for best drawing, followed by Jairui Fan and Kristin Sanders in second and third place, respectively. Puyao Zhang received the honorable mention for her drawing, and Hilary Appiah received an honorable mention for her painting.
