UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present two sessions of GA 103: Creating Effective Tests and Rubrics from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, in Room 315 Rider Building and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p. m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in Room 201 Chambers Building.
This workshop, presented by graduate consultants Whitney Zimmerman and Stephen Van Wert, will focus on ways for participants to make sure their tests are functioning accurately and fairly in determining what students have learned. Takeaways include guidelines for test blueprints, multiple-choice tests and rubrics
