UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The College of Education’s scholarship committee is accepting scholarship applications for college-specific scholarships available for Penn State's 2018-19 academic year. The college has academic awards within all fields of study, so undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to be recognized for their achievements and to alleviate tuition bills, loans and other expenses. This year, more than 300 students received scholarships from the College of Education.

Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, and those who have secured their enrollment in the College of Education at University Park for the 2018-19 academic year, are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Those who filled out scholarship applications for a previous academic year must submit a new application this year in order to be considered for a scholarship. The application deadline is April 1.

Applying for a scholarship won’t take long and the results can be very rewarding. To be considered for these scholarships, students need to fill out two forms, the College of Education application available at https://ed.psu.edu/current-students/financial-aid online, and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA, available at https://fafsa.ed.gov/ online. Once the FAFSA is complete, the information is routed to the college by Penn State’s Office of Student Aid.

International students are not required to fill out a FAFSA. Those with questions on the application process can contact education@psu.edu or check the frequently asked questions page as a resource.
