UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Eight Penn State undergraduates, all of whom are studying in the College of Communications and are members of the Schreyer Honors College, will conduct thesis presentations during a Scholars Roundtable in late February on the University Park campus.
The series of individual presentations will be conducted from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 28 in 101 Carnegie Building.
Students participating in the program are:
- Tiange Chen, who is completing a double major in journalism and political science;
- John Delaney, journalism and finance;
- Angelina Ferrara, advertising/public relations;
- Kristin Goett, advertising/public relations and Spanish;
- Kevin Kelley, advertising/public relations and English;
- Megan Krause, advertising/public relations, information sciences and technology, and German;
- Alexandra Royle, advertising/public relations; and
- Michelle Wolf, journalism.
Theses topics focus on a range of communications-related matters, including corporate social responsibility, media framing, profitable journalism in the digital age, search engine optimization, and Super Bowl commercials.
