UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The latest U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges survey rated Penn State's undergraduate engineering program 18th in the country.
The report, released Sept. 9, ranked Penn State University 47th overall in the U.S.
Under the publication's specialties categories, Penn State aerospace engineering was ranked 14th, chemical engineering 16th, civil engineering 15th, industrial engineering eighth, materials ninth and mechanical engineering 17th.
The University's undergraduate biological engineering, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering and engineering science and mechanics programs were not ranked.
U.S. News does not include the disciplines of architectural engineering, computer science and nuclear engineering as part of its survey.
