UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — From design and photography to web and video, Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro have allowed users to communicate and engage with audiences in a digital era. Since fall 2017, Penn State students, faculty and staff have enjoyed access to Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) applications at no additional cost at all campus locations.
Recently, Adobe announced changes to its licensing structure, which requires some additional steps for Penn State students, faculty and staff to use Adobe CC applications. Access to Adobe CC will continue to be available at no charge; however, an Adobe Enterprise ID account is now required.
This change affects access to Adobe Creative Cloud applications at Penn State labs and classrooms, as well as at podiums in lecture halls at all campuses. Users will be asked to sign in to an Adobe Enterprise ID account to access all Adobe CC applications. First-time users, including students, faculty and staff, will need to sign up for a free Adobe Enterprise ID account at adobe.psu.edu. Guests visiting Penn State labs and classrooms must use a personal Adobe ID through adobe.com. View this guide for more information and step-by-step instructions.
Penn State’s partnership with Adobe has helped strengthen students’ digital fluency skills needed to join the future workforce. For faculty, the Adobe CC suite allows for innovation in the classroom and enhancing course curriculums. In addition, the latest updates, new features, applications and services are available to the Penn State community as soon as they are released.
