      Barron blog discusses Penn State’s year-round commitment to those who serve

      On Veterans Day, Penn State President Eric Barron thanks past and current military members and discusses the University’s longstanding commitment to service members and their families. Along with year-round educational resources and support, Penn State hosts a Military Appreciation Week each fall, featuring the largest military appreciation events in the Big Ten. The seventh annual Military Appreciation Week culminates today (Nov. 12) with a Veterans Day Ceremony on Old Main lawn from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. honoring the service and sacrifice of all who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.
