UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The deadline to nominate candidate for the 2016 Penn State Faculty and Staff Achievement Awards is quickly approaching.
Nominators have until Dec. 15 to submit for the 2016 Faculty and Staff Achievement Awards. The annual awards recognize faculty and staff who go beyond their basic duties to bring about positive and lasting change to the university and/or the community. All Penn State faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate a fellow Penn Stater for an award.
The six awards that comprise the Faculty and Staff Achievement Awards are:
- The Barash Award for Human Service
- The McKay Donkin Award
- The Award for Administrative Excellence
- The Staff Excellence Award
- The Support Staff Award
- The Dr. James Robinson Equal Opportunity Award
All nominations are made through an awards page located on the Office of Human Resources website.

At the time of making a nomination, nominators are asked to upload a one- to two-page letter of support and list the names of up to three additional individuals who will be providing documentation that supports that person’s nomination.
