Information session for 2023-24 Administrative Fellows Program to be held Nov. 4

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An information session for the 2023-24 Administrative Fellows Program will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, via Zoom. The meeting is designed to allow past fellows to field questions from interested applicants in reference to the upcoming program, application process and mentors.

The Administrative Fellows Program offers Penn State faculty and staff the opportunity to work with senior University officers to gain insight pertaining to the challenges of leadership in the academic community. Fellows increase their understanding of the contexts within which decisions are made and gain an enhanced understanding of the various units across the University. Applicants must be full-time tenure-line, term non-tenure-line faculty (who hold appointments of five years or longer), and no-term faculty and regular staff employees who have held appointments of five years or longer.

Mentors for the 2023-24 academic year will be the appointed executive vice president and provost; Kelly Austin, vice president for Commonwealth Campuses and executive chancellor; and Jennifer Wilkes, vice president for Human Resources and chief human resources officer.  The program begins in early August and ends the following July.

Those interested in attending the information session should RSVP to Wendy Blumenthal on or before Thursday, Nov. 3, at wjy100@psu.edu.

More information about the program is available on the website for the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
