Neeli Bendapudi to share update on transformation, Penn State’s future

The virtual event will be livestreamed at 10 a.m. on Sept. 12

UNIVERSITY PARK – As the new academic year kicks off, the Penn State community is invited to tune in on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. for a livestreamed update from President Neeli Bendapudi and other senior leaders about the state of transformation and change across the University. The virtual update, titled “From Great to Greater: Achieving Purpose, Agility and Opportunity at Penn State,” will be open to faculty, staff, students and the public.  

Joining Bendapudi for the event will be Interim Executive Vice President and Provost Tracy Langkilde, Senior Vice President for Research Andrew Read, and Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses and Executive Chancellor Margo DelliCarpini. Each will be discussing the latest updates happening across the University in academics, research and at the Commonwealth Campuses.

“Over the past two years, the University has undergone many changes in an effort to create a successful future and fulfill our mission. I understand the pace of these changes has been fast and I am grateful to the entire Penn State community for all of the significant work that has been completed so far,” Bendapudi said. “While we still have work to do to reach our goals, I am excited to share with you the progress that we have made together.”

Additional town halls and focused conversations to update the Penn State community on progress regarding the direction and vision for research and transformation at the Commonwealth Campuses will be scheduled for this fall. More information on those events will be forthcoming.
