New Account Management interface launched

New interface consolidates security preferences and personal information

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The launch of the new Account Management interface is the first of a multiphase plan to improve identity service webpages and security offerings at Penn State. Sponsored by Identity and Access Management, a program within the Office of Information Security, the user-friendly system consolidates multiple security preferences, personal information, and service links at accounts.psu.edu/account-management-ui.

Features on the dashboard include forms for Penn Staters to validate a secondary email address and streamline the account recovery process. Students, faculty and staff members with Access Accounts will be able to change their password and complete the “forgot password” steps within the system. External links will allow Penn Staters to set up Two-Factor Authentication, PSUAlerts, modify email forwarding settings, and manage email aliases.

The Identity and Access Management group will continue to roll out updates and improvements to the dashboard in the coming months. For further information, and updates, follow Penn State IT on Facebook and Twitter (@PennStateIT).
