Oct. 29 Barron webinar rescheduled for Nov. 10

Webinar to feature Damon Sims, Kelly Wolgast

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State President Eric Barron's webinar, originally scheduled for Oct. 29, has now been rescheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, via Zoom.

Due to a power outage at Barron's location on Oct. 29, the webinar was postponed.

Joining Barron for the webinar will be Damon Sims, vice president for Student Affairs, and Kelly Wolgast, director of the COVID-19 Operations Control Center, to provide their perspectives to the conversation over the University’s continuing response to the coronavirus and other related topics. Faculty and staff are encouraged to join online.

The webinar will be a Q&A format, and will be accessible via Zoom at: https://psu.zoom.us/j/95360637762. While registration is not required, faculty and staff members are asked to submit questions in advance using Google Forms at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeCQv4i3ohaW7IM89M8OxM5FxH50n9AJhJCAE4y4hmKPxQBLw/viewform.

The live session has a maximum of 500 concurrent participants. A captioned recording of the webinar will be shared with the university community following the event.

The webinar series is part of ongoing efforts by University leaders to share information and answer questions from the community throughout the pandemic, including through Penn State Today, virtual town halls and weekly faculty newsletters.
