UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Effective by the end of the fall 2019 semester, the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) will undergo a reorganization of functional operations and leadership team responsibilities.
Bob Kubat, assistant vice president for Undergraduate Education and University Registrar, said the changes will flatten the organizational structure of his office and increase efficiency, realign staff based on strengths and functional areas and reflect changes from office consolidation.
Associate registrars will lead each of the four departments and report directly to Kubat. The departments will be led by Kaitlyn Roberts, customer service; Tryphena Miska, curriculum, academic records and scheduling; Paula Hamaty, degree audit, system projects, and athletics eligibility certification; and Todd Clouser, information technology.
The OUR has 35 full-time employees that support the University by managing the registration of courses, transcripts, student records, grade reporting, degree auditing and more.
“We have a fantastic and hard-working team in the Office of the University Registrar’s office,” Kubat said. “Everyone has been working diligently to support each other during our reorganization. I have appreciated everyone’s patience with those who have stepped into new roles.”
The Office of the University Registrar is part of the Penn State Office of Undergraduate Education, the academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State.
