UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State President-elect Neeli Bendapudi is traveling the commonwealth this spring as part of a listening and learning tour to meet and engage in conversations with students, faculty, staff and community members at each Penn State campus, including Penn State Health.

Bendapudi, who will begin her tenure as Penn State’s 19th president on May 9, will kick off the tour on March 18 with visits at Penn State Mont Alto and York.

“I’ve been welcomed so warmly into this community and am excited to begin to visit and learn from the special Penn State community that extends throughout the state,” Bendapudi said. “This will be a valuable opportunity to engage in conversations about all we hope to accomplish together to continue to advance excellence across the University.”

The listening tour, scheduled through May, will feature meetings with campus chancellors, as well as initial opportunities for students, faculty, staff and community members to meet with Bendapudi. As part of her onboarding period this spring, Bendapudi also will begin to meet with students, faculty, staff and various groups at Penn State University Park.
