UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State leaders will host a virtual Town Hall event at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, during Parents & Families Weekend, to answer questions from students and their families about Penn State’s return to campus and the University’s ongoing response to the coronavirus.
The hourlong event will be streamed live at https://LiveEvents.psu.edu, and will be archived online for later viewing. Questions can be submitted in advance anonymously via Google Forms at: https://forms.gle/TC3uwgcnG4HUxge4A.
Executive Vice President and Provost Nick Jones and Vice President for Student Affairs Damon Sims will be joined by:
- Dr. Kevin Black, interim dean of the College of Medicine; and
- Kelly Wolgast, director of the Penn State COVID-19 Operations Control Center.
Since the start of the pandemic, Penn State leaders have hosted a number of town hall events, including a pair of virtual town halls for students and faculty and staff on March 24, a follow-up event on May 19, another pair for students and faculty and staff on June 22, one for the University community on July 31, and one for faculty and staff on Sept. 23.
