UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Join the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and colleagues from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 to discuss the different stages of the tenure and promotion review process via Penn State's Zoom platform.
The workshop is particularly helpful for tenure-line assistant professors who are preparing for promotion to associate professor and for tenured associate professors who are preparing for promotion to full professor.
The workshop will cover several topics, including the processes of promotion and tenure at Penn State, standards for evaluating research, teaching, different types of service and engaged scholarship, and the impact of COVID-19 on research plans and progress.
