UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Three Penn State staff members were recently honored by the Penn State Educational Office Professionals (PSEOP) with annual awards.
Lori Stasko, an administrative support coordinator in the Department of Plant Science, and Karen Gallia, an administrative assistant with the continuing education office at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, were honored with PSEOP's Outstanding Office Professional Award. The award recognizes an administrative support employee at the University Park campus and at a Commonwealth Campus who has provided exceptional meritorious service on behalf of Penn State.
Jen Hart, an administrative support assistant with the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses, was named the recipient of the Lisa Brungart Leadership Award. The award is given to a PSEOP member who shows outstanding spirit teamwork; carries out the duties of their position with integrity and dedication; fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and creativity; and contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of their peers at Penn State. Winners of the award also demonstrate superior leadership skills, such as skillful motivation, planning and organization.
