Common Read event: 'Opioid Stigma and Treatment in our Area'

In this Common Read Event, Nathan Kruis and his colleagues from the Douglas W. Pollock Center for Addiction Outreach and Research at Penn State Harrisburg will discuss the role of stigma as a barrier to effectively fighting the American opioid epidemic. They will discuss their research showing the prevalence of opioid-related stigma, the impact this stigma has on communities, and their efforts to help combat the opioid crisis through evidence-based interventions such as the "Life Unites Us" campaign.
