Creating Connections with Neurodiverse Students

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM / September 15, 2026

Penn State Altoona will host "Creating Connections with Neurodiverse Students" on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Belonging Center, C112 Smith Building.

Want to meet new people? Struggling to find your community here on campus? Connect through conversations, games and coffee at the Neurodiverse Affinity group. Join other students with shared identities, experiences, and backgrounds to build community, share, vent, listen and provide support. All are welcome to attend!

Please note that this group is not a therapy group. It provides peer support and helps students build new connections. This event is facilitated by Amrish Jailal, residence life coordinator, and Kennedy Morrison, mental health counselor.

The group will meet every three weeks throughout the semester.
