Penn State Altoona will hold an informational meeting for first-year students interested in various health professions from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Room 150 of the Hawthorn Building.

Some of the disciplines include allopathic medicine (MD), osteopathic medicine (DO), pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, veterinary science, physical therapy, and physician’s assistant.

Attending the meeting will allow you to explore your options; learn factors for admission to professional schools, including early admission to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine; find out important deadlines, resources and opportunities; and ask questions.
