'Sex-Ed Bootcamp'

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM / April 28, 2022

Penn State Altoona will host a “Sex-Ed Bootcamp” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The event is presented as part of the college's commemoration of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Dr. Joni Frater and Esther Lastiqueare, founders and presenters of Sex-Ed Bootcamp, will offer their expertise on sex, consent, sexual health and contraceptives. Students also will gain an understanding of what makes us "feel good,” both as individuals and with our partners. This event is open to all Penn State Altoona students.

This event is sensitive in nature and may contain content that is disturbing or triggering for some individuals. Participant discretion is advised. Family Services Inc. will have multiple advocates available at every event.

The events are sponsored by Penn State Altoona’s Kappa Omicron Nu and Human Development and Family Studies student organization. More information can be found on Connect.
