Altoona

Student Entrepreneur Panel

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM / November 09, 2021

Penn State Altoona will present a student entrepreneur panel from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in room 201 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence or via Zoom.

Students from Penn State Altoona will share their back stories, motivations, failures and successes in launching their own business endeavors. The event will wrap up with a Q&A session to motivate other young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. Open to all students and community members.

The event is part of Penn State Altoona’s celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an annual celebration of Penn State's year-round commitment to innovation. It brings together students, faculty, staff and community members to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and cultivate student start-ups. Each November, GEW aims to inspire people everywhere through local, national and global events to help them explore their potential as innovators and self-starters. Workshops, presentations and networking can help participants get started. A full listing of events is available on Penn State Altoona’s GEW page.
