Penn State Altoona will present a Women in Sports Reporting panel at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Hannah Mears, reporter for the Pittsburgh Steelers; Michelle Crechiolo, reporter for the Pittsburgh Penguins; and Anderley Penwell, weekend sports anchor for WTAJ-TV will offer their insights into sports journalism — particularly how women can gain access into it. They also will talk about ethics in sports journalism and the unique opportunities and challenges of being a female sports journalist.

The panel is sponsored by Penn State Altoona’s communications program, the Rock Ethics Institute, and the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
