ALTOONA, Pa. — A poem by Erin Murphy, professor of English, has been selected for the Pennsylvania Center for the Book’s Public Poetry Project.

The poem, “Vow,” is one of four poems chosen for this year’s honor. It is featured on an art poster that will be distributed to schools, libraries, bookstores, coffee houses, and other businesses throughout the commonwealth. In addition, 2,000 posters will be sent to the National Book Festival sponsored by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

A video recording of Murphy reading “Vow” and selected other poems is featured on the Public Poetry Project’s website.
