‘Hard Freight Café’ and related events rescheduled for Nov. 29

ALTOONA, Pa. — The Hard Freight Café, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15, is rescheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The reading by Professor Yaw Agawu-Kakraba is also rescheduled for Nov. 29 to kick off the Café.

Additionally, the “Meet the English Faculty” event, set for Nov. 15, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Hard Freight Café is sponsored by the English program and "Hard Freight," Penn State Altoona’s online student literary magazine.

Nov. 29 at midnight is also the deadline for fall 2022 submissions to "Hard Freight." Up to three entries per student in the categories of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, drama, visual art and multimedia work (such as original music, short videos, etc.) may be submitted online.
