Next Altoona teaching and research lecture series presentation set for Feb. 22

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Spotlight on Teaching and Research (STAR) lecture series continues with a presentation by Professor of Physics Kofi Adu and mathematics student Philip Chamberlin.

The pair will present their research, titled "Estimating Bandgap Energy of Nanoarchitectured Nonconforming Heterostructures for Solar Cell Application," at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

The STAR series spotlights how faculty research influences teaching and vice versa. The series is sponsored by Penn State Altoona's Office of Academic Affairs and Student Pathways to Undergraduate Research. This event is free and open to the public.
