Penn State Altoona faculty selected as faculty scholar

ALTOONA, Pa. — Jeff Stoyanoff, assistant professor of English and women's, gender, and sexuality studies at Penn State Altoona, was selected as a new member of the Penn State General Education Faculty Scholars.

These scholars serve as leaders and help to build high-impact teaching and learning practices in general education across the institution.

Stoyanoff was selected because of his experience with teaching general education courses, his demonstrated commitment to innovative pedagogy and course design, appreciation for general education as a cornerstone of academic success, and commitment to providing access and service to students across the commonwealth.

Stoyanoff begins his term in July 2024 for one year with the possibility of renewing his position for up to three years.
