ALTOONA, Pa. — Jared Frederick, assistant teaching professor of history at Penn State Altoona, worked with John Homan, a World War II veteran, to publish Homan's memoir, titled “Into the Cold Blue: My World War II Journeys with the Mighty Eighth Air Force.”
