Penn State Altoona professor’s paper takes top honors at marketing conference

ALTOONA, Pa. — Tulay Girard, professor of marketing at Penn State Altoona, co-authored, published and presented the research paper “Student Satisfaction with Learning Experience and Its Impact on Likelihood Recommending University: Net Promoter Score Approach” at the annual meeting of the Association of Marketing Theory and Practice Conference (AMTP). The conference was held in Hilton Head, South Carolina, March 15-18.

Girard’s paper received the Top Paper Award in the Marketing Education track.

Girard also was presented with the Outstanding Dedication and Resourcefulness Award for serving and organizing both the 2022 and 2023 AMTP conferences as conference chair. She is now president of the board.
