Monday, April 20 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. — Movie Monday: "For the Bible Tells Me So"

Join us for our Movie Monday documentary, "For the Bible Tells Me So." Does God really condemn loving LGBT relationships? Is the perceived chasm separating Christianity from homosexuality too wide to cross? These questions and more are addressed in this award-winning 2007 documentary, which offers a reconciliation of homosexuality and Biblical scripture and asserts that religious, anti-gay bias is often based upon misinterpretation of scripture.

Through the experiences of five Christian, American families — including those of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson — viewers discover how these people of faith handled the realization of having an LGBT child or family member.

Join us on Zoom with the password 994501. Attendees must have a valid Penn State email address.
