      Poem by Penn State Altoona faculty member featured in the New York Times

      ALTOONA, Pa. — A poem by Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, professor of English, creative writing, and African literature, was published in the "New York Times" online magazine and appeared in the June 7 print edition.

      Selected for publication by Naomi Shihab Nye, "One Day, love song for the newly divorced" is included in Jabbeh Wesley's collection of poetry "Praise Song for My Children: New and Selected Poems," published by Autumn House Press in March 2020.

      The poem is available on the "New York Times" site.
