UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — As part of its strategic planning efforts, the Penn State Alumni Association has commissioned an online survey to alumni that will be fielded beginning this week. Nearly 342,000 alumni will receive the survey.
The Alumni Association has partnered with higher education market research firm, PEG, Ltd., to conduct its Alumni Attitude Study, which focuses on learning more about alumni interest in and expectations for programming, services and communications. The survey also asks alumni for feedback about how to help them stay connected to what they love about Penn State and how their experiences as a graduate impacted their career choices and other interests.
“This is an intentionally broad opportunity to reach and hear from our alumni community,” said Alumni Association CEO Paul J. Clifford. “Our alumni want to be involved with the Alumni Association based on our ability to keep them connected to all the reasons they love Penn State. And this survey will give us even more insight into those interests and expectations as we work together to fulfill our mission of service to the University.”
This online survey will be sent to all alumni who have a valid email address on file and who have not opted out of similar surveys or other communications. Results will be used to develop the organization’s strategic plan and priorities for 2016–19 and into the future.
The Alumni Association routinely surveys alumni to better understand views and opinions, quantify engagement, and benchmark historical trends. To access prior Alumni Association research and reports, go to alumni.psu.edu/research.
