UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The nomination period for the Penn State Alumni Association's Volunteer Awards is open and will run through Monday, March 4. There are nine categories for group awards and six individual awards. More than one nomination can be submitted. Additional information, along with links for the nomination forms, can be found on the Alumni Association’s website. The Penn State Alumni Association is the world’s largest dues-paying alumni association, with more than 174,00 members and 775,000 living alumni. Volunteer leaders serve alumni members of nearly 250 affiliate groups and more than 100 chapters, which unite Penn Staters through shared interests, academic colleges, geographic location and more.
