Nominations open for Alumni Association’s Volunteer Awards

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Each fall, the Penn State Alumni Association Recognition Program acknowledges outstanding individuals and groups who have distinguished themselves through volunteer service and programming for alumni and alumni groups.

The yearlong process culminates with the Volunteer Awards, which highlights inspiring volunteer stories from across the worldwide Penn State alumni network.

Nominations for the 2023 Volunteer Awards are open and submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, March 1. There are five individual categories, made possible by generous endowments from Penn State alumni, and 10 group categories. Alumni Association members have access to the entire affiliate group network — including local chapters — with no additional cost or action required.
