UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In light of recent events on Penn State campuses, including incidents that appeared to be racially motivated and targeted, the Black Alumni Reunion Committee, along with African American Alumni Organizations, will host a virtual campus climate conversation at 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 31.
During this conversation, attendees will be provided information on what the University is doing to address racially motivated attacks, resources for impacted students, and how alumni can make a difference in making Penn State a more equitable, inclusive and safe environment.
Speakers during the conversation will include:
- Representatives from the Penn State Presidential Commission on Racism, Bias and Community Safety.
- The Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity.
- Current student leadership from the Black Caucus.
- Penn State Alumni Association leadership on our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
