Registration open for We Are Weekend, June 21–22

Schedule features carnival, fireworks, commemorative photos and more

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration is open for We Are Weekend, and Penn Staters are making plans to attend the popular event June 21–22 on the University Park campus.

You can view the agenda, register, and watch the welcome video on the Alumni Association's website

The weekend features a carnival at Medlar Field, capped with fireworks; commemorative photos at the Nittany Lion Shrine and Hintz Family Alumni Center; campus tours and much more. Plus, all Penn Staters can contribute to a paint-by-number illustration that will be located at the Alumni Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Pioneer Induction Dinner will be held to recognize Penn Staters from the Class of 1974. This annual dinner honors alumni celebrating their 50th anniversary of graduating from Penn State and serves as an opportunity to recognize them for all they’ve done for the University. Set for the evening of Friday, June 21, at the Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel, alumni will receive their Pioneer Medallion during the ceremony and be recognized as Penn State Pioneers.

Discounted rooms blocks are available at several hotels in the State College area. Complete details are on the We Are Weekend registration page.
