UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — At away football games, the Penn State Alumni Association hosts a game day pep rally for all Penn Staters, free of charge. The event opens three hours prior to the kickoff time. Alumni and fans can enjoy performances from the Pep Band, Penn State cheerleaders and Nittany Lion, along with enhanced family friendly games, Penn State Bakery cookies and water.

Alumni Association members who attend will receive a commemorative lanyard with this year's football team roster. Learn more about membership and join the world's largest alumni association at alumni.psu.edu/YouBelong

With a noon kick scheduled for the game with the Buckeyes on Oct. 21, the Roar Tour at Ohio State will open at 9 a.m., with the kick time for Maryland on Nov. 4 still to be determined.

The season's first two Roar Tour stops at Illinois at Northwestern were huge hits, with more than 1,000 Penn Staters attending the two events.

All Penn Staters are encouraged to sign up for the next two Roar Tour stops at Ohio State (Oct. 21) and Maryland (Nov. 4). Note: There will not be a Roar Tour event at Michigan State due to the game being the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 24) at Ford Field in Detroit.

Photos of the Roar Tour at Illinois and Northwestern are available on the Alumni Association's Flickr page, along with video highlights on its Facebook page: Penn State Alumni Association President Anand Ganjam speaks with Alumni Association CEO Paul Clifford at Illinois and Penn State football letterman Rod Bratton makes a special appearance at Northwestern. The Alumni Association also livestreams the performances of the Penn State Pep Band and cheer and spirit squad, and those videos can be found under the "Live" tab on the association's Facebook page

The Penn State football team is 6-0, ranked No. 7 nationally, and has won 11 straight games. Additionally, the Nittany Lions have scored at least 30 points in 13 straight contests, the longest active streak in the nation.
