UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association once again will offer special deals on membership pricing for Cyber Monday, which falls on Nov. 29 this year.
In addition to access to more than 30 different member benefits, everyone who joins or upgrades their Alumni Association membership through the Cyber Monday appeal will be entered to win a Penn State bowl package for two, including airfare, hotel and bowl tickets. Five additional winners will receive a special gift from the Penn State Bakery.
The Cyber Monday sale will feature half-price annual and life memberships (half off the standard based membership prices, not on already discounted memberships). For example, an individual annual membership — typically $50 — will be discounted to $25. An individual life membership, typically $700, will be discounted to $350.
Lifetime memberships also can be purchased as a gift.
Current annual members can take advantage of Cyber Monday prices during a pre-sale starting Nov. 21.
Nonmembers will receive a “save the date” email on Friday, Nov. 26. The public sale will be promoted via email and social media for one day only on Cyber Monday.
The Alumni Association will include students in this year’s Cyber Monday sale. Life membership for students will be discounted to $350, but membership in the Blue & White Society, the association’s student arm, will remain affordable at the regular rate of $15.
Current members can enter the football bowl travel package sweepstakes by emailing membership@psu.edu with the subject "2021 Bowl Package Sweepstakes" during the Cyber Monday campaign.
Association membership benefits include a subscription to the award-winning Penn Stater magazine and other newsletters that connect you to happenings on campus. Members also enjoy access to exclusive resources like the Alumni Library and the Alumni Directory; discounts on merchandise at Penn State Bookstore locations; reduced registration fees for Alumni Association events; access to discounted health, life, auto, home and renter’s insurance; and more.
For more than 150 years, the Penn State Alumni Association has provided alumni with a strong and welcoming community representative of the Penn Staters it proudly serves.
