UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s premier jazz ensemble, Centre Dimensions, will deliver an unforgettable evening of high-energy jazz on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the School of Music Recital Hall. Under the direction of Joshua Davis, this performance will showcase the virtuosic sounds of renowned guitarist Gilad Hekselman, a major voice in jazz guitar who has captivated audiences worldwide.
Hekselman, celebrated for his innovative style and skill, has performed with some of the greatest names in jazz, including Chris Potter, Ari Hoenig, Esperanza Spalding, Jeff Ballard, Ben Wendel, Gretchen Parlato, Avishai Cohen, Tigran Hamasyan, Aaron Parks, and Becca Stevens. His collaboration with Centre Dimensions promises to be a dynamic fusion of contemporary jazz guitar and the vibrant energy of the Penn State ensemble.
Tickets for the Centre Dimensions concert featuring Gilad Hekselman are available for purchase at the Arts Ticket Center. Admission is $12.50 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets will also be available at the box office, which opens one hour before the performance.
