Students of Penn State's School of Visual Arts will observe a moment of silence as they place ribbons on the paws in front of the Palmer Museum of Art on the University Park campus, in recognition of victims and survivors of child abuse and sexual assault, at 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 16. The event will be open to the public. Participants will have an opportunity to create a personal response as part of a public work of art. The museum galleries will be open as a place of solace and respite for members of the community. Information on the prevention of sexual assault will be available from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape.
