UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State's School of Music offers credited private lesson opportunities to all Penn State musicians, regardless of major. Instruments offered include voice, cello, piano, percussion, guitar, saxophone, violin, and trombone, among others.
Students have the opportunity to cultivate their musical ability with weekly, one-on-one lessons with instructors that cater to schedules and availability.
Prior experience and/or an audition may be required depending on the instrument, and there are additional lesson fees associated with individual instruction. Acceptance as a private music lesson student is subject to instructor and School of Music approval.
