UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Christian music artist Matthew West, a four-time Grammy nominee who earned his first American Music Award in 2013 and a Billboard Music Award in 2014, will perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, Nov. 7. Joining West are Francesca Battistelli and Mr. Talkbox. The show starts at 7 p.m.
A multiple-ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Christian Music Songwriter/Artist of the Year winner, West’s hits include “Happy” (2003), “History” (2005), “Something to Say” (2008), “The Story of Your Life” (2010), and Grammy-nominated “Into The Light” (2012).
Battistelli, a Grammy nominee in her own right and a six-time Dove Award winner, has catalogued such hits as “My Paper Heart” (2008), “I'm Letting Go,” “Free To Be Me” and “Hundred More Years” (2011). She has earned two No. 1 albums on the Christian charts, broke the Top 40 on the Billboard Top 200 pop charts, and reached Top 20 success. Dove Award winner Mr. Talkbox's single, "Get On Up," has made it to No. 21 on the Air1 Radio network charts and his latest single, "Everything Works Together," featuring Beckah Shae, jumped to No. 34 on the Christian Billboard charts.Tickets are $25, $35, and $45 Gold Circle and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, at 10am at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, and Penn State Downtown Theatre.
