UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The director of Penn State's Network on Child Protection and Well-Being, Jennie Noll, joins host Patty Satalia on the next installment of WPSU-TV’s "Conversations from Penn State."
"Conversations from Penn State: The Lasting Impact of Child Maltreatment" will air at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, on WPSU-TV. The show can also be viewed at http://conversations.psu.edu.
Noll and Satalia will examine the research about the long-term effects of abuse, how these findings have been translated into policy and practice, and what is being done to prevent child abuse.
In addition to being one of the first faculty members hired for Penn State’s Network on Child Protection and Well-Being, Noll is also a professor of human development and family studies. An internationally recognized researcher from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, her work focuses on the long-term consequences of childhood sexual abuse.
