CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents the Bethlehem Palette Club “All Member Exhibition,” which runs May 20 to July 27. The exhibit features paintings by both professional and first-time artists, but this year, for the first time, members had the opportunity to enter three-dimensional works as well.

This year’s juror for award recipients is Ann Lalik, gallery director and arts coordinator at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Founded in 1947, the Bethlehem Palette Club has two general goals. First, to stimulate creativity among its members through learning opportunities, exhibiting and connecting with other artists. Secondly, to generate interest in the arts throughout the Lehigh Valley and support local youth with scholarships to help fulfill their dreams of studying art.

“The ‘All Member Exhibition’ is important as it encourages all members, no matter how shy, to exhibit their work," said Pam Bayliss, exhibit chairperson. "Some are showing for the first time, and some are professional artists. The results are always exciting and positive. We are grateful for this opportunity to exhibit at Penn State Lehigh Valley, as it too values learning opportunities and creates art experiences for the Lehigh Valley community.”

The closing reception will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 27. The exhibit and closing reception are both free and open to the public.
