UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Pegula Ice Arena will host Penn State's 35th annual spring ice show, this year titled “King of the Valley,” at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14.
Skaters from the Penn State figure skating team, Nittany Valley Figure Skating Club, and the Pegula Learn to Skate program will present a special Nittany Lion version of Disney’s “The Lion King.”
Included in this year’s show are American national and international skater Emmanuel Savary and Brazilian national champion Isadora Williams. Savary was the 2010 U.S. novice silver medalist and 2009 U.S. intermediate champion, and he skated in the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Williams, a Brazilian-American skater, has competed at the World Figuring Skating Championships and is a two-time Olympian, having competed in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and PyeongChang, South Korea, respectively.
General admission tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at Pegula Ice Arena’s Gate C or at the door on the day of the show. Children age 3 and younger are free.
